Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Overland Park, Pho Vietnam offers an authentic Vietnamese dining experience that beautifully captures the vibrant flavors of Southeast Asia. Specializing in traditional Vietnamese cuisine—with a standout focus on their namesake dish, pho—this restaurant invites you to explore a rich tapestry of taste and aroma that’s sure to satisfy both casual diners and pho aficionados alike.

At Pho Vietnam, the menu bursts with enticing options that showcase the diverse culinary heritage of Vietnam and its neighboring regions. Among the highlights are their flavorful rice dishes like the Combination Fried Rice ($17.99), a savory stir-fry of chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, and fragrant Thai spices, and the classic Grilled Pork Chop with Steamed Rice and Vietnamese Sweet and Sour Sauce ($12.99), which delivers an irresistible balance of tender meat and tangy glaze.

The experience doesn’t stop there—refreshing beverage offerings such as the velvety Vietnamese Iced Milk Coffee ($5.99) and the subtly sweet Salted Lemonade ($5.99) provide the perfect accompaniment to the robust flavors. For those with a sweet tooth, the Coconut Mango with Sticky Rice Smoothie ($10.99) is a tropical delight that lingers pleasantly on the palate.

Guests rave about the harmonious blend of authentic flavors and generous portions. Brandy Allison shared how the generous servings and reasonable prices made for an exceptional first visit, remarking on the lingering satisfaction from both the soups and main dishes. Janelle J praises the broth’s depth, describing it as “delicious by itself and with everything added,” a testament to the kitchen’s attention to crafting a rich and comforting pho experience.

The atmosphere at Pho Vietnam strikes a welcoming balance, where casual diners can enjoy their meals amidst a setting that’s lively yet comfortable. Some patrons note the presence of televisions adding a dynamic, modern touch to the dining space, while others appreciate the serene aesthetics, accented by natural materials like bamboo, which elevate the sensory pleasure beyond just taste.

Whether you’re craving a hearty bowl of pho, adventurous dishes like the Lao papaya salad and Thai boat noodles mentioned fondly by repeat visitor Sunny Y., or a simple, satisfying meal with top-quality ingredients, Pho Vietnam delivers a flavorful journey that keeps locals coming back. It’s a spot where every bite carries the warmth of Vietnamese culinary tradition, paired with attentive service that makes you feel right at home.

For newcomers and returning fans alike, Pho Vietnam is more than just a restaurant—it’s an invitation to savor bold, fresh flavors that excite the senses and create memorable dining moments in Overland Park.

The food was amazing. The service was great! My daughter recommended it. Since it was our first time going we each ordered a soup and a regular dish. We had a LOT of leftovers. And it was just a little over $10 a plate. We live 45 minutes from here and I will definitely be back.

My new favorite pho spot! I was even able to replant the fresh basil they gave me! I always get it to go so I’m not sure about the self service option others are referring to. The egg roll did change to a fried one which I didn’t like. Rolled it on a napkin and it was straight grease! but other than that, broth is delicious by itself and with everything added

New owners took over about 1.5 years ago and their Lao pho, Thai boat noodles, Lao papaya salad, and Lao banh mi are so good! Have had all more than twice already. Hoping portions and flavors stay the same as I’ll be a repeated customer.

A wonderful culinary experience! Loved the bamboo. I was mixed on how serene the environment was and having multiple TV’s playing. That would only be a 3 star with the combo. But overall, worth visiting. Super delicious.

So I’ve come here for a long time already. For years and years I’ve always known this place to be busy-ish and their food was good! Upon first walk-in, the restaurant smelt foul. Like BO and something sour. Not sure where that came from. Our noses got used to the smell. I revisited this establishment and it’s quite different from what I remembered. The quality of food has probably decreased from what I remembered. Food comes out super slow and it seems there’s only one waitress bussing tables and serving people. We came at around 6PM and there were 4 tables (including us). There are two younger girls sitting in the front that kind of guide us to where to go and sit but the waitress is the main person doing everything (excluding cooking, of course). Their spring rolls are great! Taste great and are very reasonably priced. We got B3 and P5. The B3 was great too and for $14, you get quite a bit of food. P5 was however, a major disappointment. The noodles were so very soggy and couldn’t be picked up by chopsticks. My friend had to use a spoon since the noodles were soft and very short (like the length of rice). I’m not sure I’d come again to be honest… Food: 2.8/5 Service: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Atmosphere: 3/5 (nothing has changed much from what I remembered) Seating: 4/5 (plenty)

First time eating here. You have to order at the front desk first, they'll then give you a pager to take and it'll buzz when your food is ready to be picked up at the pick-up window. Seating is self service. The pho broth is very good by itself. All the spices and condiments are self-service as well. The eggrolls were crunchy and flavorful. Loved it. The crab rangoon, however, were a bit of a disappointment. I had a few that had rarely any cream in it. Nonetheless, I'd come back again, for the pho and other dishes in the future.

Updated review since there are new owners now. I had the Pho this time. The food was excellent and the service was just as good. Recommended
